Terry Lee Tucker

Tucker Jonesville- Mr. Terry Lee Tucker, 70, of Sandy Berry Road passed away Wednesday, June 04, 2014 at his home. He was born April 23, 1944 in High Point, NC to the late Dallas Alexander and Lucy King Tucker. Mr. Tucker worked for several years in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator. He was a faithful member of Northwood Baptist Church in Yadkinville. Mr. Tucker loved attending church, spending time with his family, and going hunting. Surviving are his beloved wife of 50 years, Cora Cox Tucker of the home; his children, Kenneth Lee Tucker and wife, Debbie of Jonesville; Jimmy Tucker and wife, Vickie of Yadkinville; Tammy Tucker Hutchens and husband, Rodney of Jonesville; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Betty Tucker, Rita Harbin; a brother Stephen Miles Tucker; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Friday at Northwood Baptist Church in Yadkinville. His funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM on Friday at Northwood Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Barker and Rev. Ronald Muncus, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to Northwood Baptist Church Family, Rev. Allen Barker and wife, Jan, Rev. Ronald Muncus and wife, Mary, and to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care for all the loving care, prayers, and support given to Mr. Tucker and his family.
