Brenda Wilkins Oliver, 65, passed away Wednesday June 11, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born August 5, 1948 in Surry County to Claude and Margaret Elder Wilkins. She was a member of Jonesville First Baptist Church. Proceded in death by a nephew Brian Guyer. Surviving are her husband of 45 years Roger Oliver; her parents Claude and Margaret Elder Wilkins; her children Marty Oliver, Julie Oliver (Mark) Morgan, Michael Jordan, and Jim Berry; grandchildren Kristin Oliver (Brandon) Gentry, Dustin Allen Oliver, McClellan Brown, Braxton Brown, Marissa Morgan, Sydney Morgan; great grandchild Rylan Gentry; a sister Bonnie Wilkins (Danny) Guyer; a nephew Brad Guyer; her beloved pets Mojo, Smokey, and Bob. The family will receive friends Friday June 13, 2014 from 6-8 PM at First Baptist Church in Jonesville. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday June 14, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Jonesville by Rev. Roger Hensley. Burial will follow at Fall Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
