Susie Cora Yarboro Stonestreet

Susie Cora Yarboro Stonestreet, 101, passed away Sunday June 22, 2014 at Clemmons Village I. Mrs. Stonestreet was born March 31, 1913 in Surry County to the late Monroe and Elizabeth Harp Yarboro. She was a member of Benham Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband William Rester Cockerham, second husband Doyle Stonestreet; an infant son William Rester Cockerham, Jr., a grandchild Mark Cockerham, and ten siblings. Surviving are a son Mackie (Deanna) Cockerham; a daughter Rebecca Cockerham (Fred) Fowler; three grandchildren; one step granddaughter Debbie Burcham; nine great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Wednesday June 25, 2014 prior to the service at Benham Baptist Church. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday June 25, 2014 at Benham Baptist Church by Chaplain Stewart Roten. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Clemmons Village I, Hospice of Forsyth County, and the 8th Floor at Forsyth Medical Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Stonestreet.
