Daniel Frederick Correll

Correll Hamptonville- Mr. Daniel Frederick Correll, 70, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at his home. He was born August 13, 1943 in Davie County to the late George Christian and Ethel Daniel Correll. Mr. Correll worked as a truck driver for over 42 years with Southern States and Lowery Livestock. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Correll; and four brothers, John Correll, Kenneth Correll, Ed Correll and George C. Correll, Jr. Surviving are his sister, Louise Durham of Mocksville; 3 sons, Tony Correll and wife, Laura of Gold Hill, NC; Jeff Correll and wife, Robin; Freddie Wayne Nichols and wife, Tammy all of Mocksville; and a daughter, Shelby Jean Salmons and fiance' John Childress of Hamptonville; his special friends, Polly Driver and Alice Dobbins of Hamptonville; grandchildren, Tonya Bragg and husband, David; B.J. Nichols, Jr and wife, Vickie; Bradley Nichols and wife, Barbara; Michelle Burke and husband, Tony; Alicia Johnson; Brandi Caudill Sparks, and husband, Alvin; Jamie Caudill; Nicole Childress; Brittany Nichols; and 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Friday, July 11, 2014 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral service will be 12:00 PM Saturday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev.
