Gladys Macemore Bottoms

Jonesville Mrs. Gladys Macemore Bottoms, 87, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mrs. Bottoms was born January 19, 1927 in Surry County to Dee and DeEtte Simpson Macemore. She was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bottoms was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Jay Bottoms; and a son, Dennis Bottoms. She is survived by a son, Danny Bottoms; and a sister, Lucille Vanhoy. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 1:00PM at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville with Rev. Conrad Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow at Swaims Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Jonesville.
