Roy Marvin Caudle

Caudle Yadkinville - Roy Marvin Caudle, 69, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014. He was born May 16, 1945 in Yadkin County to the late Rozzie Pickett Caudle and Marvin B. Caudle. Roy retired from Courtney Volunteer Fire Department after serving over 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Zola Pinnix and Joy Soots; brother, James Caudle; and five infant brothers and sisters. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Betty Jean Reece Caudle; children, Edward Roy Caudle, Marvin Wayne Caudle, Carla Jean (Tom) Moser; sister-in-law, Lucille Caudle; and brother-in-law, Robert Soots. His funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. David Stelter. Burial will follow at Boonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
