Wilma Robbins Waddell

Wilma Robbins Waddell, 68, passed away Monday August 4, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 19, 1946 in Iredell County to the late Claude James and Lettie "Peg" Holcomb Robbins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Geraldine Robbins, two brothers Jimmy Robbins and Leroy Robbins, and a grandson Nicholas Waddell. Surviving are her husband of 47 years Billy Waddell; two sons Darin Waddell, Chris (Amy) Waddell, of Advance; grandchildren Brantley Waddell, Madison Waddell, and Eden Waddell; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday August 9, 2014 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday August 10, 2014 at Fall Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Brad Cunningham and Rev. Harold Salmons. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the ER at Forsyth Medical Center, ICU Second Floor Unit 1 at Forsyth Medical Center, 8th floor at Forsyth Medical Center, Oak Forest everyone in the vent unit, Alicia Brown, Volunteers at Forsyth Medical Center Donnie McKnight and Julie Chimlund, Arlington and West Yadkin Volunteer Fire Departments.
