Tobie Jones Styers

Yadkinville Mrs. Tobie Ann Jones Styers, 71, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 at PennyByrn at Maryfield. Mrs. Styers was born July 11, 1943 in Stokes County to Wiley and Oma Ferguson Jones. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Styers was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie "L.J." Styers; and three brothers, Wayne Jones, Jack (Martha) Jones, and Voyt Jones. She is survived by one daughter, Penny Holt (Mickey) Hull; one step son, Allen Styers; four step grandchildren, Jeff (Lynnette) Hull, Justin Hull, Brittany (Ryan) Swain, and Logan Styers; two great step grandchildren, Stockton and Hadley Hull; two sisters, Carolyn (John) Smith and Mary Jones; one sister-in-law, Dot Jones; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be conducted Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 6:00PM at Deep Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2401 Old Stage Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of PennyByrn at Maryfield for all the love, care, and support shown to Mrs. Styers.
