George Thomas Steelman

Steelman Yadkinville - George Thomas Steelman, 56, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born April 25, 1958 in Forsyth County to G.L. Steelman and Peggy Poindexter Steelman. God blessed George with a kind soul and a loving disposition. George's godly nature, his sincere heart, and his humble and patient spirit will continue to be an example for those who love him. He was preceded in death by his father, G.L. Steelman. Surviving are his wife, Debra Hobson Steelman; mother, Peggy Poindexter Steelman; sister, Lisa (Wayne) Jester; brother, Craig (Susie) Steelman; niece, Victoria Steelman; nephew, Jake Steelman. His funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Huntsville Baptist Church by the Rev. Brian Chilton and the Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
