Willena Sheets Hutchens

Clemmons Mrs. Willena "Willie" Sheets Hutchens, 88, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Hutchens was born November 6, 1925 in Forsyth County to Charlie and Luna Craft Sheets. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church. Mrs. Hutchens enjoyed quilting and traveling. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutchens was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Hutchens. She is survived by two children, Wayne (Tammy) Hutchens of Clemmons and Donna (Max) Braxton of Graham; four grandchildren, Stephanie Hutchens of Winston Salem, Kristine Hutchens of Winston Salem, Jeff Hutchens of Greensboro, and Amy (Hunter) Hairr of Salemburg; one great grandchild, Kaitlyn Hutchens; one sister, Betty Jean Johnson of Lewisville; five brothers, Herman Sheets, Clarence Sheets, Bobby Sheets, Howard (Sandra) Sheets, all of Lewisville, and Harold Sheets of Advance; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 2:00PM at Enon Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Elmore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for all the love, care, and support shown to Mrs. Hutchens and her family.
