Kenneth Dale Hardwick

- Mr. Kenneth Dale Hardwick, 49, passed away Saturday September 27, 2014 at Yadkin Valley Community Hospital. Mr. Hardwick was born December 7, 1964 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Charles Minnick Hardwick & Mary Clewis Hardwick Cooper. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Hardwick, a sister Kimmie Hardwick, stepfather Don Cooper. Surviving are his wife Dawn Wagoner Hardwick; a daughter Nichole Leigh Abernethy (Fiancée Jeremy Rector); a son Trevor Cole Hardwick; mother Mary Cooper; grandchildren Caden Abernethy, Caleigh Abernethy, Carter Abernethy, and Cashton Rector; three sisters Cathy (Jeff) Greer, Robin Cooper (Karen Rabon), Kristie (Terry) Watkins; two brothers Kevin (Kathy) Hardwick, Lyn (Brandy) Cooper; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday September 30, 2014 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. His funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Swaims Baptist Church by Rev. Jerry Shelton, Rev. Matty Ponce-De-Leon. He will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
