Lorraine Hall Pardue

Pardue Yadkinville - Lorraine Hall Pardue, 86, passed away Tuesday, October 07, 2014 at her home. She was born May 17, 1928 in Surry County to the late Governor Vance Hall and Molly May Marsh Hall. Lorraine was a homemaker, always enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She also volunteered at the Yadkin County Senior Center. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John David Pardue; son, Kenneth Boyd Pardue; brothers, Warren Hall, Clarence Hall, Glenn Hall, Leon Hall. Surviving are her children, Janice (Sam) Freeman, David (Cathy) Pardue; grandchildren, Amelia (Daniel) Hardy, Allen (Jennifer) Pardue, Samuel (Heidi) Freeman, Sarah (Drew) Fulton; great grandchildren, Jacob Hardy, Matthew Hardy, AJ Fulton, Kate Fulton, Tripp Freeman, and Tucker Freeman; sisters, Lois, Betty Lou, and Shirley; brothers, Hobert, and Garland. Her graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Harmony Grove Friends Cemetery by the Rev. Richard Eskew.
