Jamie Vestal Sale

Jonesville Mrs. Jamie Denise Vestal Sale, 52, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Sale was born February 20, 1962 in Surry County to Vertle and Bobby Laffoon Vestal. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, watching her hummingbirds, and spending time with her dog. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sale was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Vestal. She is survived by her loving husband, David Harold Sale; a daughter, Shannon Davis; grandchildren, Dustin Childress, Ethan Sizemore, Anthony Ordonez, and Jamani Lomax; one sister, Janice Shields; special cousins, Cheryl Bledsoe, Debbie (Joe) Dezern, and Sandra (Bill) Groce; special aunt and uncle, Pansy and James Nations; nephew, Scottie Shields; two nieces, Teresa (Steve) Russell and Kimberly Vestal; a sister-in-law, Kathi Vestal; and her special K-9 companion, Sasha. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00AM at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Fowler and Rev. Darron Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of Woltz Hospice Home for all the love, care, and support shown to Mrs. Sale and her family.
