Quince Dale Tilley

Jonesville Mr. Quince Dale Tilley, 25, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Mr. Tilley was born October 31, 1988 in Catawba County to Dale and Cassandra Brooks Tilley. He attended Shady Grove Baptist Church. Quince loved working on trucks and cars, riding horses, and playing his guitar. Mr. Tilley was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Ina Tilley and Rolland Brooks; and a great grandfather, John Wesley Martin. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Della Page and her children, Adaline "Addie" and Austin Page; a brother, Matthew Dale Tilley; grandmothers, Jearld (Kerry) Teague and Kitty (Jay) Kennedy; aunts and uncles, Kay Roop, Allen (Shelly) Tilley, and Anthony (Anna) Kennedy; great aunts and uncles, Linda Martin, Brenda (Harold) Brittan, Elva Stowe, Tammy Rivero, Lessie (Rex) Church, Johnny (Karen) Martin, and Trealy (Judy) Griffin; and several cousins. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 3:00PM at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00PM at the church prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church, 3808 Center Road Boonville, NC 27011. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to everyone at Shady Grove Baptist Church for their thoughts and prayer, and to TJ and JR Mayes and family for allowing Quince to live out his dream of being a mechanic.
