Lucille Jester Dancy

Lucille Jester Dancy, 80, passed away Monday October 20, 2014 at her residence. She was born February 16, 1934 in Iredell County to the late James Arthur and Mae Groce Jester. She was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Mary Calhoun. Survivng are her husband Curt Andrew Dancy; Children Sandra Whitley, Randy (Roberta) Dancy, Beverly (Roy) Byerly; grandchildren Lynn (Jason) Long Michael Dancy (Jennifer), Lisa (Ben) Roper, Mary Dancy, Wendy Dancy, Andy Clifton (Amy Cooper), David (Kelly) Byerly, Christopher Byerly; great grandchildren Brandon Dancy, Brittney (Jay) Anderson, Courtney (John)Loflin, Kaleb Clifton, Laken Clifton, Allie Long, Ashleigh Clifton, Josh Long, Christian Dancy, Sarah Roper, James Dancy, Lucas Dancy, Adrianna Dancy, Vance Byerly, Annslee Byerly; great - great grandchildren Macey Gilpin, Bentley Loflin, Peyton Tolladay, and Jordon Tolladay and others that cared about her; a brother James (Shirley) Jester. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday October 21, 2014 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday October 22, 2014 at Richmond Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Will Hamrick and Marty Matthews . She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
