Harold Howard Griffin, Sr.

Harold Howard Griffin, Sr., 85, passed away Tuesday October 21, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born December 10, 1928 in Missouri to the late Thomas Jefferson and Ida Belle Rigdon Griffin. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Harold Howard "Hal" Griffin, Jr, sisters Earlene Hoffman, Dorothy Harris, Sadie Gatlin, Beulah Griffin, Virgie Griffin; brothers Oliver Griffin and Norman Griffin. Surviving are his wife Doris Allen Griffin; two daughters Scharlett Griffin, Audrey (Fleming) Crissman; grandchildren Valerie (Dale) Smith, Craig Tyler, and Amanda Hambrick; great-grandchildren Carlee Smith and Christian Smith. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Friday October 24, 2014 at Boonville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. His funeral will be at 3:00 PM Friday October 24, 2014 following the visitation by the Rev. Jenny Stewart and Rev. Marion Swann. Burial will follow at Boonville Cemetery.
