Betty Key Hutchens

Hutchens Boonville - Betty Lou Key Hutchens, 84, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2014. She was born July 1, 1930 in Surry County to the late Captain Kernel Key and Rosa Hudson Key. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Odell Hutchens; sons, Don Hutchens, Doug Hutchens. Surviving are her children, Sue (Scottie) Alberty, Becky (Lindsay) Matthews, Kathy Hutchens; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Lou Galyon. Her graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2014 at Liberty Baptist Church in Dobson by the Rev. Rick Whitaker. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Hutchens family.
