Nancy Velma Renegar

Renegar Yadkinville- Nancy "Velma" Renegar, age 100, passed away Sunday October 26, 2014 at Willowbrook Health Care in Yadkinville. She was born April 19, 1914 in Yadkin County to the late Dudley and Sally Comer Renegar. Ms Renegar was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Lonnie Renegar, Howard Renegar; and her nephew, Grady Renegar. Surviving are her nephew, Jerry and wife, Shelby Renegar; Nieces, Linda and husband, Den Mickles; Marie Branon; special friends, Evelyn Harris, Judy Smith, her Bethel Baptist Church Family; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Her funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church by Rev. Bill Hale and Rev. Jesse Miles. She will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the cemetery immediately following the graveside service on Wednesday. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Willowbrook Health Care for all the loving care shown to Velma.
