John Ed Anthony

Yadkinville Mr. John Ed Anthony, 59, departed this life on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 to be with the Lord. He passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center following a short illness. Mr. Anthony was born December 1, 1954 in Yadkin County to Bernice Anthony Hill and the late Ray Anthony. He was a dedicated son, brother, uncle and friend. In addition to his father, Mr. Anthony was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Bernice Anthony Hill and husband James; four sisters, Betty (William) Frost, Debra Williams, Sharon Williams, and Patricia (Harold) Hymes; one aunt, Robin Harding; three nieces, Kimberly Williams, Tammy (Billy) Burton, and Michelle (Big Bill) Wharton; three nephews, Eric Anthony, Terrell Anthony, and Allen (Wendy) Anthony; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 3:00PM at Tabernacle United Church of Christ with Pastor Marvin Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
