Vestal Jonesville - Dillon Patrick Vestal, 19, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014. He was born April 28, 1995 in Wilkes County. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wanda Spicer; great grandfather, John Spicer. Surviving are his parents, Patrick Ryan Vestal and Angela Spicer (Kenny Shermer) Vestal; grandparents, Davis Vestal, Phyllis Gardner, Johnny Spicer; step grandparents, Carol Vestal; great grandmother, Helen Spicer; sister, Brianna Paige Vestal; uncles, Cory Vestal, John Dustin Spicer; special aunt and uncle, David and Carol Bray; friends, Forrest Shermer and Alisha Shermer. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Shady Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Paul Stewart and the Rev. Roger Hensley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Vestal family.
