Bobby Lee Pardue

Bobby Lee Pardue, 74, passed away Thursday December 4, 2014. He was born December 3, 1940 in Yadkin County to Woodrow Wilson and Madge Swaim Pardue. He was preceded in death by his father Woodrow Wilson Pardue. Survivng are his mother Madge Swaim Pardue; former wife Kathryn Sale Pardue; four children Elaine (Robbie) Cheek, Becky L. Pardue, Vonda (Philip) Funderburk, Jamie (Tammie) Pardue; grandchildren Travis (Kate) Cheek, Emily (Brian) Tuthill, Cameron (Taylor) Cheek, Kara Pardue, Samantha Pardue; great grandchildren Samuel Cheek and Sarah Beth Cheek; three sisters Jo Ann Royal, Jean Gregory, Judy Shore; a brother Danny Pardue. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday December 7, 2014 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by Rev. Tim Tucker. The family would like to say a very special thanks to Dana, Jennifer and the staff of Dunmore Plantation and also to the staff of mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mr. Pardue.
