Jimmy Lee Cook, 63, passed away Friday December 5, 2014. Mr. Cook was born October 18, 1951 in Surry County to Rev. Jack James and Delilah Randleman Cook. Surviving are his parents; companion Carol Byrd; children James (Marty) Cook, Tesha Cook, Megan Cook; grandchildren Eden Ashley, Cassidy Cook, Blake Ashley, Kyley Cook, Baylee Bryant, Gracee Bryant; great grandchild Zaida Ashley; brother Tony (Becky) Cook; and many, many special friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 -3:30 PM Sunday December 7, 2014 at Old Fashion Baptist Church. His funeral win be conducted at 3:30 PM Sunday December 7, 2014 following the visitation by Rev. Bob Edwards, Cam Finley, and Preacher Dylan Cook. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
