Virginia Coe Mathis

Mathis Jonesville - Virginia Dare Coe Mathis, 72, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014. She was born September 7, 1942 in Surry County to the late Connie Doc Coe and Francis Wood Benton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Gerthie Coe, Linda Cleary, Connie Coe; brother, Ray Coe. Surviving are her children, Daniel (Tammy) Stanley, Dawn (Nicky) Gregory; grandchildren, Ashley Harris, Brittney Dezern, Ivey Stanley, Cassi Gregory; great grandchildren, Kali Dezern, Jaxon Harris. Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at East Elkin Full Gospel. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at East Elkin Full Gospel. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Mathis family.
