Brown Yadkivnille- Mrs. Martha Faye Harrison Brown peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 15, 2014 Born to Montgomery Lee Harrison and Carrie Mary "Madie" Caudle Harrison on May 4, 1926. She attended Branon Friends Meeting and served as the Flower Coordinator. She loved her family and was a loving wife, mother, and mamaw. She was a gifted homemaker who enjoyed sewing, quilting, and her favorite embroidery. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George P. Brown, by a grandson, Kenny d. Brown, 2 daughters-in-law, Margaret A. Brown and Roberta P. Brown; a son-in-law, Terry G. Windsor; and a sister, Zera Hauser. Surviving are her sons, Santford (Margaret) Brown, Joe (Joanna) Brown, Carl (Martha) Brown and a daughter Georgia Windsor. Grandchildren, Dean (Angela) Brown, Billy Joe (Pam) Brown, Charles (Vanessa) Brown, Carlene (Matthew) king, Regina Watson, Dustin Cox; 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Leigh Collins, Fern Longworth; and a brother, Verne Harrison. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Branon Friends Meeting by Rev. Ronnie Wooten and Rev. Eric Morrison. She will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
