Martha Elizabeth Salmons-Gill, 63, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014. She was born November 18, 1951 in Surry County to the late Leonard Gray and Flora Dudley Salmons. Surviving are her daughter Heather (George) Nelson; grandchildren Kendall Nelson, Gabriel Nelson, Michael Nelson; brothers Rev. Harold (Janet) Salmons, Billy (Diane) Salmons, Gray (Deborah) Salmons; a sister Betty Salmons; Companion Hansel Shook; special sons Dexter and Adam Shook. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Monday December 22, 2014 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday December 22, 2014 at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Harold Salmons. Burial will follow at Harmony Grove Friends Church Cemetery.
