Terry Allen Peak

Hamptonville Mr. Terry Allen Peak, 63, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Peak was born February 8, 1951 in Robinson, Illinois to Leota Tolbert Peak. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War as a Ground Support Tech. Mr. Peak enjoyed working with wood and building things. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peak was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Jones and Anita Wells. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Della Christian Peak; two sons, Matthew Peak and Thomas (Andrea) Peak; five grandchildren, Monica, Nichole, Natalie, Mikaela, and Alex Peak; one sister, Beverly (Ron) Fertig; two brothers, Dwayne (Connie) Peak and Gary (Nancy) Peak; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00PM at Beulahland Non-Denominational Church with Rev. Ralph Casstevens officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors provided by Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beulahland Non-Denominational Church, 5520 Cedar Lake Road Jonesville, NC 28642.
