Burton Lester (B L) Trivette

Burton Lester (B L) Trivette, 79, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014. He was born February 20, 1935 in Davie county to the late Burton F. and Mazie Cranfill Trivette. Mr. Trivette was a member of Northwood Baptist Church he also served in the US Navy on the USS Joseph P Kennedy DD850. He retired from Hanes Dye and Finishing after 37 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mary Sue Potts. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Louise Southard Trivette; two sons Chris (Candy) Trivette, Keith Trivette; grandchildren Kristen, Jason, Michael, Janie, Brandon Trivette; three sisters Faye (Mickey) Boger, Colene Mayberry, Bonnie (Jimmy) Joyner; two brothers Willis (Judy) Trivette and Wayne (Sadie) Trivette; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 Thursday January 1, 2015 at Northwood Baptist Church. His funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM following the visitation at the church by Dr. Allen Barker and Dr. Hubert Wishon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
