Faye Bryant Burrus

Burrus Boonville - Faye Bryant Burrus, 95, passed away Friday, January 02, 2015 at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. She was born December 24, 1919 in Caldwell County to the late John Russell Bryant and Minnie Sumpter Bryant. Faye was a Registered Nurse and worked at several different Hospitals. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Woodson Burrus, Sr.; sisters, Annie Setzer, Ada Bostian, Lorraine Hollar; brothers, Joe Bryant, Robert Bryant, Ernest Bryant, Harold Bryant. Surviving are her children, Henry Burrus, Jr., Martha (John) Hewes; grandchildren, John Hewes III, Leslie Hewes; sister, Helen McLean; brother, Glenn (Evelyn) Bryant. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Will Hamrick. Burial will follow at Richmond Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
