Arnold "Chubby" Gray Eads

Arnold Gray "Chubby" Eads, 75, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015. He was born September 2, 1939 in Yadkin County to the late Raleigh and Vader Johnson Eads. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda Shanks Eads, three sisters and one brother. Surviving are a daughter Amanda (Kim) Greenwood; a son Michael (Sonja) Eads; stepchildren Marion Maulden, Patricia Bryant, Fred Maulden, Anita Maulden, Jesse Maulden; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four sisters Edith Eads Crouse, Peggy Eads Cox, Bonnie Anthony, Gaynelle Nelson; a brother Robert Steelman. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 PM Monday January 5, 2015 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 1:00 PM following the visitation on Monday at Gentry Family Chapel by Dr. Hubert Wishon. Burial will follow at Rock of Ages family cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Rock of Ages family cemetery c/o Cindy Day 1837 North Oak Ridge Church Rd. Boonville, NC 27011.
