David Darrel Greer

On Tuesday January 6th our family lost a very special man, David Darrel Greer. He was a quiet, humble, hard working man. He was devoted to his children and loved his grandchildren with his whole heart. He was blessed with the ability to fix anything with wheels. He was a well respected mechanic upon whom many depended. He will be greatly missed by so many. He was born February 21, 1957 to the late Everette Ray and Mollie Younce Greer. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Barbara Bishop, Jackie Casstevens; a brother Russell Bishop. Surviving are a daughter Tara Joyner; a son Brad (Sheila) Greer; grandchildren Sarah Greer, Joshua Joyner; a sister Debbie (Jerry) Johnson; a brother Ralph Greer; Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friend Pam Dudley. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Saturday January 10, 2015 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
