Sharon Kay Casstevens Stinson

Sharon Kay Casstevens Stinson, 63, passed away Monday January 12, 2015. She was born April 8, 1951 in Surry County to the late Sidney Frank and Mary Ethel Holcomb Casstevens. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Gordon Casstevens, Kent Casstevens. Surviving are a daughter Scarlett (John) Dalrymple; a son Brent Stinson (Nina Caudill); grandchildren Amy Altman, Dani Dalrymple, Arlo Dalrymple, Haley Stinson, Noah Caudill, Olivia Caudill; a sister Johnsie (Tom) Fletcher; a brother Marshall Casstevens; sister in law Bobbie Casstevens; former husband Tim Stinson. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Friday January 16, 2015 at Light House Baptist Church. Her funeral will be conducted at 3:00 following the visitation by Rev. Ottis Hurst and Rev. Eric Caudle. Burial will follow at Mitchell's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
