Lema Mozell Wilmoth Brown

Lema Mozell Wilmoth Brown, 90, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015. She was born July 13, 1924 in Surry County to the late Joseph "Delbert" and Stella "Maude" Smith Wilmoth. Mrs. Brown was a long time member of Boonville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George Emory Brown; sister Marie Vernon; three brothers Fred Wilmoth, Smith Wilmoth, and Denton Wilmoth. Surviving are a daughter Phyllis Current and her husband John; grandchildren Christie Buwalda and her husband Bob, Julie Gizinski and her husband Andrew; great grandchildren Caleigh Buwalda, Colton Buwalda; a sister Lorene Williams who was always by her side; two sister-in-laws Rachael Wilmoth and Kathleen Wilmoth. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Boonville Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday following the visitation at the church. Burial will follow at Boonville Cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to her Boonville Baptist Circle Group and other special friends who visited almost every day. A visit, bag of goodies, card and a phone call would make her day. She loved all of you.
