Peggy Bryant Douthit

Douthit Boonville - Peggy Jean Bryant Douthit, 80, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. She was born January 29, 1934 in Yadkin County to the late Henry Arthur Aaron Bryant and Cosby Evelyn Craft Bryant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jim Douthit; children, Mary Evelyn Douthit, Vernon Douthit and Alan Douthit; sisters, Mozella Vanhoy and Ruby Swaim; brothers, Roy Bryant and Herbert Bryant. Surviving are her children, Jeannie (Donald) Collins, Rocky (Debra) Webster, Sharon Brandon and Shannon Harris (Joey Hudspeth); brother, Henry (Hilda) Bryant, Jr.; grandchildren, Erica (Rodney) Shore, Shaun (Danielle) Stanley, Nicholas (Elizabeth) Webster, Joshua (Andrea) Webster, Noah (Angel) Webster, Heather (Lee) Sweet, Matthew (Pamela) Garris, Corey Dzeskewicz and Bryan Dzeskewicz; great grandchildren, Lakin, Logan, Mikhala, Cody, Kailei, Layla, Khloe, Lukas and Lillie. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by the Rev. Charlie Kennedy and the Rev. James Pardue. Burial will follow at Swaims Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville.
