Larry Michael Gilmore

Gilmore Jonesville- Mr. Larry Michael Gilmore, 66, of Messick Road passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home. He was born October 1, 1948 in Alamance county to Noah Gaston and Madelyn Collins Gilmore. Mr. Gilmore worked with the Furniture Industry for several years, was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, and a veteran of the US Army serving in the Vietnam War for 3 years. He was preceded in death by his father in 1993. Surviving are his mother, Madelyn C. Gilmore, of Jonesville; his brothers, Steve (Bea) Gilmore, Gene (Nancy) Gilmore, Ronnie (Peggy) Gilmore, Noah Jr. (Teresa) Gilmore, David (Faye) Gilmore; a sister, Cheryl (Joel) Smith; nephews, Darrell Gilmore, Steven Gilmore, Brad Gilmore, Clint Gilmore, Johnnie Gilmore; nieces, Melinda Gilmore, Bridget Murphy, Hannah Gilmore, Zara PeTrocy, Zena PeTrocy. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Monday, January 26, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in State Road. His funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM in the Church with Rev. John Attaway officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
