Viola May Pinnix

Viola May Pinnix, 96, passed away Tuesday February 10, 2015. She was born July 4, 1918 in Yadkin County to the late Banner and Alice Sparks Pinnix. Mrs. Pinnix was hard worker and avid Gardner and very great cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband Hermon Snow; 2nd husband Raymond Pinnix; son Stuart Pinnix; daughter Georgia Messick; son-in-law Jack Messick. Surviving are three sons Slate Pinnix, Garney Pinnix, and Dean Pinnix; seven grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Monday February 16, 2015 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday following the visitation at the Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by Rev. Tommy Conley.
