Thomas Harold Dinkins

Yadkinville Mr. Thomas Harold Dinkins, 80, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Dinkins was born May 14, 1934 in Yadkin County to Charlie and Maude Russell Dinkins. He was a member of Yadkin Masonic Lodge 162 A.F. and A.M. He co-owned Dinkins Brothers Carwash for many years. Mr. Dinkins was a handyman and was always willing to help anyone. He was a loving father and will be greatly missed by his daughter. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dinkins was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Claude Dinkins; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Dinkins. He is survived by his daughter, Janna Heady and husband Justin; a sister, Bonnie Allen; and a brother, Wayne (Patti) Dinkins. A memorial service will be conducted Friday, March 13, 2015 at 2:00PM at Maplewood Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Lancaster officiating. Masonic Rites will be given by Masonic Lodge 162. Full military honors will be provided by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford 600 College Street Oxford, NC 27565.
