Julius "Junior" Monroe Reece

Yadkinville Mr. Julius "Junior" Monroe Reece, Jr., 63, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015. Mr. Reece was born October 1, 1951 in Surry County to the late Monroe and Lucy Caudle Reece. He was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church and retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. Mr. Reece is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Lou Hobson; son, Nathan Reece; stepdaughter, Lacy Wooten; five grandchildren, Mazie, Luke, Malachi, Isaiah, and Eli Wooten; one great granddaughter, Liliana Wolfe; two sisters, Shirley (Bobby) Colbert and Charlene (Fred) Taylor; one brother, Leroy (Dale) Reece; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 3:00PM at Richmond Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Will Hamric and Rev. Lawrence Warden officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Upwards Basketball at Richmond Hill Baptist Church, 2205 Richmond Hill Church Rd, Boonville, NC 27011.
