Betty Jean Miller

Yadkinville Mrs. Betty Jean Gough Miller, 86, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mrs. Miller was born April 23, 1928 in Yadkin County to Blum and Elizabeth Long Gough. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Yadkinville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Keith Miller, Sr.; three sisters, Ila Stillwell, Gertrude Whicker, and Mary Williard; and two brothers, Walter and Hugh Gough. She is survived by one son, Henry "Sonny" Keith Miller, Jr.; and one brother, Paul (Lucille) Gough. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 2:00PM at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church 2232 Brandon Hills Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center for all the loving care given to Mrs. Miller.
