Virginia Lee Mullis

Mullis Hamptonville - Virginia Lee Mullis, 79, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was born October 29, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late Benjamin Kimbell "B.K." Mullis and Lillie Mae Tulbert Mullis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ben Mullis, Edward Mullis, Roger Mullis; two sisters, Lois Medvetz, Mildred Caudle; granddaughter, Amber Nichole Hunt. Surviving are her children, John Wayne Talley, Lisa Hunt, Janet (Doug) Nance; grandson, Randy Hunt; brothers, Joe (Mary Lou) Mullis, Gray (Michelle) Mullis; sister, Betty Couch; great grandchildren, Alexis Nichole Rogers, Abrielle Adele Trent; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Peace Haven Baptist Church by the Rev. George Evans. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service, at Peace Haven Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Yadkin County Cap Program, Yadkin Nursing Care Center, and the ICU and staff at Forsyth Medical Center.
