Ronald Alexander Bell

Bell Hamptonville - Ronald Alexander Bell, Sr., 80, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born August 17, 1934 in Yadkin County to the late Don Alexander Bell and Dell Sale Bell. Ron, his twin, and his younger sister went to the Methodist Children's Home in Winston-Salem. He is a graduate of Reynolds High School and North Carolina State University. He and his brothers all served in the U.S. Military. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Don Bell, David Bell, Gray Bell, Phillip Bell, Charles Arnold Bell; sisters, Kathryn Bell Martin and Edna Joy Bell Turner. Surviving are his wife, Willa Lewis Bell; daughter, Kathryn Olivia Bell (Brian) Reilly; son, Ronald Alexander (Carol) Bell, Jr.; grandchildren, Yvonne Nicole Maisel (Pierre) de St. Croix, Connie Leigh Bell, Sara Elizabeth King, Lewis Alexander (Heather) Bell, Daniel Isaac Hawn, William Christopher Reilly; great grandson, Owyn Yves de St. Croix; sister, Mary Lou Bell (Mack) Smith; several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Flat Rock Baptist Church by the Rev. Joey Tomlin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Flat Rock Baptist Church. Memorials can be made to Kate B.
