Brown Boonville - Billy Darrell Brown, Sr., 71, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born August 30, 1943 in Carrabus County to the late Martin Luther Brown and Edith Almond Brown. Surviving are his wife, Lucille Brown; son, Billy Darrell Brown, Jr.; brother, Rev. Terry (Judy) Brown; several nieces, nephews, and other family members. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Mitchell's Chapel United Methodist Church by the Rev. John Pillsbury. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Mitchell's Chapel United Methodist Church.
