Ann Eller Hardy

Mrs. Ann Eller Hardy, 85, of Union Grove passed away Tuesday April 28, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born September 9, 1929 in Wilkes County to Rev. Leroy and Nancy Brooks Eller. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe Hardy, son Kenneth Hardy, granddaughter Mindy Hardy and great grandson Corbin Hardy, as well as eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Hardy is survived by eight children Peggy (George) Maillet, Larry (Terri) Hardy, Shirley (Kim) White, Jerry Hardy, Clyde (Betty) Hardy, Jeffrey (Sheila) Hardy, Kay (Benny) Wilkins, and Mark (Melissa) Hardy; eleven grandchildren Eric Maillet, Jody Maillet, Josh White, Christie Townsend, Benjamin Hardy, Michael Hardy, Samantha Hardy, Megan Henderson, Amanda Hardy, Natalie Hardy, and Sarah Hardy, eight great grandchildren; one sister Mary Holland of Moravian Falls, NC. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday May 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Jim Holbrook and Rev. Dwight Dowell. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday April 30, 2015 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zepher Rd. Dobson, NC 27017.
