Joyce Lee Chapman

Chapman Jonesville- Mrs. Joyce Lee Chapman, 71, of North Mineral Springs Drive and formerly of Asheville, NC passed away peacefully Thursday, May 07, 2015 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born October 16, 1943 in Harnette County to the late Hubert Lee and Lillie Margaret Wilson Cummings. Mrs. Chapman was a devoted homemaker who was a constant companion and co-worker with her husband. She was a former member of High Street Baptist Church in Canton, NC and member of Dennyville Baptist Church in Ronda, NC. Surviving are her beloved husband of 38 ½ years, Johnny Edward Chapman, of the home; daughters, Revonda Lee Kelly of Fletcher, NC, Katherine Margaret Ryder of Broadway, NC; grandchildren, Shannon Boguess, David Ryder, Jr., Zack Ryder, Amber McFee, Tia Kelly; great-grandchildren, Jake and Jase Boguess. The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Dennyville Baptist Church. Her funeral service will follow the visitation on Saturday at 11:00 AM in the church with Rev. Chris Willitt, Rev. Tom Moore, and Rev. Joel Riley, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Jonesville is serving the Chapman Family.
