Michael Bruce "Mickey" Clodfelter

Clodfelter East Bend - Mr. Michael Bruce "Mickey" Clodfelter, 67, of Forbush Road passed away peacefully Monday, May 11, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born February 4, 1948 in Forsyth County to the late James Leon, Sr. and Clarice Bruce Clodfelter. Mickey was retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a Rural Mail Carrier and was the owner and operator of Clodfelter Services. He loved growing vegetables in his garden for his family and friends. He especially loved to spend time talking with family, friends, neighbors, and strangers, about life, politics, and religion. He was a faithful member of Forbush Friends Meeting. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, James Leon "Jimmy" Clodfelter, Jr. Surviving are his loving wife of 33 years, Stephanie Smitherman Clodfelter, of the home; his two daughters, Andrea Clodfelter Williams and husband, Jamie of East Bend; Amy Clodfelter Smith and husband, Danny, of Clemmons; and the love of his life, his grandson, Hudson Michael Williams. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. His graveside service will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Forbush Friends Meeting Cemetery by Rev. Michael Thames.
