Rose Phillips

Boonville Mrs. Rose Lewis Phillips, 85, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015. Mrs. Phillips was born January 29, 1930 to Charlie and Annie Bell Brooks. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harvey Monroe Phillips. She is survived by three children, Nancy Phillips Capocy & husband John, Sandra Phillips Burris & husband John, Gary Alan Phillips and wife Lynne; grandchildren, Joseph Cameron White, Misty White Rager, Sheri Burris Stirewalt, Cameron Alan Phillips, Laura Phillips Hardy, Justin Phillips, McKenzie Danielle Owens; great grandchildren, Rebeccah Charlotte White, Zoe Lynn Poindexter, Jace Alan Phillips, Avery Grace Hardy; and siblings, Robert Brooks, Minnie Brooks York. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, May 13, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:00pm at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 11:00AM at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons with Rev. Gary Posey officiating.
