Eva Ester Frye

Yadkinville Mrs. Eva Ester Williams Frye, 96, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Willowbrook Health Care. Mrs. Frye was born September 5, 1918 in Yadkin County to Jonah and Amelia Shermer Williams. She was a lifelong member of Pilot View Friends Church. Mrs. Frye was an avid gardener and an excellent cook. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Frye was preceded in death by her husband, Bruster Asbury Frye; three sisters, Louisa Brown, Pearl Pardue, and Maude Williams; and two brothers, Perry Williams and Wilson Williams. She is survived by five nieces and nephews, Phyllis Hines and husband Lee, Zetta Steelman, Beatrice Hobson, Jay Harold (Claudia) Williams, and Eldon (Leesa) Williams. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 4:00PM at Pilot View Friends with Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger and Josh Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
