Wilson Clyde Hauser

Yadkinville Mr. Wilson Clyde Hauser, 90, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Hauser was born March 15, 1925 in Yadkin County to Clyde and Ida Maude Draughn Hauser. He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served in World War II, earning the Purple Heart. Mr. Hauser enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hauser was preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Leigh (Howard) Wooten. He is survived by three children, Linda (Billy) Brandon, Roy Wilson Hauser, and Sandra Leigh Hauser; six grandchildren, Jamie Wilson (Alice) Hauser, Michael Wilson (Stacy) Hauser, Melissa Riddle (Damon) Long, Marcus Anthony (Meredith) Hauser, Annie Maria Hope (Jamie) Martinez, and Christina Renee (Danny) Caudle; ten great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one brother, Henry Allen (Vie) Hauser; one nephew, Rocky Hauser; and two nieces, Susan (Junior) Bobbitt and Janice (Roger) Crisco. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 3:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Rebecca Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Hauser family cemetery with full military honors provided by VFW Post 10346*84. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
