Mary Brooks Vestal

Vestal Boonville - Mary Brooks Vestal, 84, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at her home. She was born March 28, 1931 in Allegany County to the late Samuel Brooks and Daisy White Marion. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Zeno Warren Vestal; sisters, Thelma Childress, Josie Payne, and Maratha Key. Surviving are her son, George Franklin (Esther) Vestal; granddaughter, Maranda Roten; great grandson, Chandler Roten; sister, Della Coins; sister-in-law, Mary Sue Liles; brother-in-law, Homer Childress; several nieces, nephews, and a special nephew, Buddy Liles. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 at Charity Baptist Church by the Rev. Eddie Driver and the Rev. Willie Bryant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Charity Baptist Church.
