Ruth Allen Hall

Hall Boonville- Mrs. Ruth Allen Hall, 86, passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born January 27, 1929 in Carroll County, Va. to the late Jasper and Ella Mae Cloud Allen. Mrs. Hall was a beloved homemaker who enjoyed gardening with vegetables and flowers. She also enjoyed quilting with her friends at Charity Baptist Church, of which she was a long-time member, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Homer Hall; by 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Surviving are her loving children, Blanche (Watt) Welborn, Alice (Radford) Freeman, Faye (David) Reynolds, Danny (Lora) Hall; grandchildren, Eric Welborn, Landon Welborn, Josh Reynolds, Jennifer Vass; great-grandchildren, Dallas, Brandon, & Sophie Welborn, Jadon & Kason Welborn, who was her best little helper; and step-grandchildren, Liza and Lucy Harvey. Her graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Charity Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Eddy Driver. There will be no formal visitation for Mrs. Hall.
