Norman Kernersville - Dallas Ray Norman, 88, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at his home. He was born October 28, 1926 in Forsyth County to the late Cleveland Zebulon Norman and Dolly Ector Reich Norman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Pope Norman; children, Francis Ray Norman, Patricia Dianne Brown; sisters, Aileen Woosley, Anna Mae Carter; brothers, Clyde Norman, Carl Norman, Clarence Norman, Wilbur Norman. Surviving is his son, Keith (Pam) Norman; brother, Fred (Faye) Norman; grandchildren, Joanna (Jeremy) Kobernat, Sarah (Mark) Leone, Adam (Carrie) Norman, Daniel (Monica) Brown, Joseph Norman, Joseph (Charity) Brown, Rachel (Jerry) Wyatt, Rebecca (Tim) Trieber, Leah (Jeff) Harrell, Chris Gibby; 22 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Gospel Light Baptist Church by the Rev. Bobby Roberson and the Rev. Joseph Brown. Burial will follow at Sedge Garden United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Gospel Light Baptist Church.
